A lot of catching up to do...

We have a lot of blog catching up to do around here.... might have to break it up into a few posts...

Sam's parents came to visit at the end of June, and Scarlett had a great time hanging out with her Nanna and Papa Rogoway! We spent the day in Malibu on Saturday, had lunch at Taverna Tony's and shopped around a bit. Then we had them over for brunch on Sunday. It was a great visit!

For Scarlett's 1st 4th of July, we took her to the parade in Palisades. We were shocked at what a big deal this was! There were literally thousands of people on our small stretch of Sunset. It was really neat to see all of the people and I think Scarlett really enjoyed it. We decided that next year we will need to bring the dogs. We didn't see any fireworks this year, Scarlett had already been asleep for hours by 9pm, but we heard them!
